We aim to unite in the tattoo industry to actively contribute to its growth and evolution. Our Association will consist of female tattoo artists, shop owners, convention producers, product owners, educators, advocates, and activists who shape the industry today. We will raise awareness for initiatives such as the Tat2 Edu Petition, which seeks to integrate tattoo art into school art history curricula, and a petition to standardize health department regulations for tattoos nationwide and eventually internationally. While we cannot halt the industry's evolution, we can serve as a valuable resource for the government, providing accurate information and advocacy. Our mission is to preserve tattoo history by promoting awareness and lobbying for necessary changes and regulations, while also addressing issues of equality and the inappropriate treatment of women in the industry, particularly concerning unethical apprenticeship practices.
Our Mission
The Tattoo Industry Women’s Association is meant to advocate, petition, and bring awareness.

Tattoo History Preservation
Petition 1 - (Tat2Edu) This one is to implement tattoo art into the art history school curriculums. Because they don’t even acknowledge us as part of art history.

Tattoo History Preservation Tour - we plan on assisting the pioneers of the industry to give seminars at colleges or universities. This will express the trials and tribulations the women went through to pave the way and also touch on the history of tattooing. This will not only help our industry but will give the pioneers the ability to make money since most don’t get the proper recognition at conventions nor do they have the same physical abilities to sustain their lives with tattooing anymore without difficulty.

Safe Space -
"Seal of Approval"
Tattoo “Safe Space” Awareness Program - We will give the women in ink the ability to communicate and express their concerns or experiences on SA and other misogynistic behaviors that need to stop for us to grow as a community. I think there are alot of women that feel alone and unsupported.

Tattoo Safe Space Seal:
We will send a digital and sticker seal of approval of our "Tattoo Safe Space Seal" you can place in your booth or tattoo studio for artists to know that it's a safe space to apprentice at and for females to get tattooed in your location.
